Slaked lime (Calcium hydroxide 90%)

Slaked lime is used in the production of substrate for many fungi that grow on wood shavings or sawdust.

It enriches the substrate and increases the acidity of the substrate, creating unfavorable conditions for the growth of Trichoderma (green mold).

It is added in a proportion of 1 to 5 percent of the dry substrate mass (excluding water).
